Call out to all coffee connoisseurs! Discover the delectably smooth and delicious coffee beans organically grown, roasted and straight into the cups of our tribe from our very own boutique coffee estate in the rolling hills of Byron Bay, Northern Rivers.
Our area lays claim to a sub-tropical climate that is perfect for Arabica Coffee. Why? Because our beans take longer to ripen (compared with the tropics), the flavours produced are sweeter and more complex. And then there are our artisans' choices for ethical farming: environmental and sustainable farming practices that encourage a healthy ecosystem, pesticide-free nurturing of the plants, massive doses of hard work and lashings of love! Good for your health, good for the earth (and all the little creatures native to our region).
We are delighted to introduce our latest Naturally Northern Rivers Australia artisan partners in caffeine in the Northern Rivers… Zentveld’s Coffee Estate... named after the Zentveld family. Bec & John took a baton pass from John's parents (June & John Snr) who were pioneers in coffee farming in the region - back in the 1980's, when only a small group of fervent estate owners realised the potential of growing coffee.
Bec brings her experience of over 20 years & artistry in roasting the beans to perfection & John brings well... all the other stuff! There is so much to share about Zentveld's and we can't wait to do that via our blogs & social. But firstly, coffee!
